Drivers of Landscape Change – Webinar Launching a New Book

In celebration of a recently released book, Drivers of Landscape Change in the Northwest Boreal Region, the Northwest Boreal Partnership hosted two webinars. Six of the book’s contributors provided highlights from the book and how this valuable tool can inform your work in land management, resource stewardship, and research.

This tool, co-authored by 65 experts in Alaska and northwest Canada, addresses what is driving change in our lands, waters, and wildlife, and includes impacts, future projections, information gaps, and implications for management and ways of life for Indigenous and rural communities. We hosted one webinar through the Alaska Center for Climate Assessment and Policy and one through Yukon Government’s Science Community of Practice, and have posted a recording online for people who weren’t able to attend.

The book can be purchased here.
